Remember that whole flexibility thing?

We really don't know what we don't know until we know. You know?

Diving into the pop-up concept has been awesome! It's also been a whirlwind, and I still can't believe I'm not dreaming.

I started sewing. And I sorted out that I'm not a pattern kind of gal. I think I've mentioned the idea of "outlaw" quilting. No rules, trust your gut and free your mind. Every fabric, every design has a story or a memory or a wish. When I'm sewing I can see where my pieces will go - a cheerful quilted door hanging welcoming friends to Summer barbecues, the sweet tiny baby snuggling with their double-gauze lovey or the grill master loving their new pot holders and grill gear.

June 1st will be the release date for my Summer collection. My heart and mind have been very full these day - especially my family of birth and my family of friends. I hit the jackpot with both, and the items this Summer are pieces created for those we love. Father's Day, new babies, housewarmings and Summer BBQ. Who doesn't need something bright and fun?!

You'll see a lot in this release. Summer to me means popsicles, patriotism, picnics and parties. Think about giving a handmade gift to someone in your life and let me be the friend that makes it for you. From quilts to home decor pieces, kitchen accessories to gifts for baby - I've got you.

Sunday, June 11th we'll be at the Seostris Shrine in Lincoln, Nebraska participating in the Mid-Summer Market hosted by Wild Orange. I'd love to meet you.
